A general rule of thumb is the lampshade diameter should be wider than the widest part of the base and the height of the shade ½ the height of base; although this rule can be broken, and often is!

To measure your lamp base, measure the widest part of the lamp base – straight across (diameter) not around (circumference). Then measure the height from the bottom of the base up to where the lampshade attaches to the base (just below the bulb).

Due to the remote location of our business, postage charges are higher and production times are slower than in metropolitan areas (the joys of country living). We don't have all fabrics in stock, mostly we order as required. Many of our designer fabrics are printed on demand and may take up to 6 weeks to arrive to LUH HQ from the time our order is placed..and then we get to work on bringing your shade to life.

Our custom lampshades can take up to 8 weeks to be made & delivered to you. We promise to keep you updated!
